Thanks to all who submitted videos for our Video Contest to help us kickoff the launch of our newly designed website. Choosing a winner proved difficult. As you might imagine a few beers were consumed in deliberation. In the end, we were overwhelmed with the passion that was displayed in each submission about Marshall Brewing Co. The Winner is Tyler Huffman with “In Taste we Trust.”
Tyler Huffman, a film student at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, is a born and raised Oklahoman having spent the majority of his 24-year-old life living in Tulsa and the surrounding areas. Growing up he developed a passion and love for acting, which lead him into filmmaking and screenwriting after graduating high school.
Like most college kids his palate was highly uneducated when it came to the true craft of a good brew. Having only been exposed to choking down the watery 3.2% alcohol content the mainstream beer companies make special for the great state of Oklahoma, Tyler was unaware of the excellence a truly well crafted beer had to offer.
This all changed when a friend introduced him to the world of home brewing and his beer drinking experience took on a new life. Tyler developed a strong respect for the craft of brewing. As an Oklahoma native Tyler was very pleased to discover there was a growing industry of craft brewing in his very own city and decided to take a closer look at Marshall Brewing Company and the result was the short documentary that you can view on this page.
